Earth Science is an exciting, content rich course that will cover a wide
range of topics such as rocks & minerals, astronomy, and meteorology. It
is important that students invest time daily into reviewing and
practicing the topics that we cover in class. Use the resources that you
have been given in class and on my website to review and study the
concepts that we have covered in class.
At the end of the year, in June, the Earth Science Regents Exam
will take place. The purpose of this exam is to evaluate the student’s
knowledge and understanding of the material covered in the Earth Science
course. Students who successfully complete the Earth Science course and
Regents Examination will receive one high school science credit.
