•A visual way to remember the number of days in each month is by putting your hands together (after making a fist, and tucking your thumbs under) then starting on your first knuckle and go across your knuckles and the spaces in between, say the months for each knuckle and space:

January (knuckle), February (space), March (knuckle), April (space), May (knuckle), June (space), July (knuckle), August (knuckle), September (space), October (knuckle), November (space), December (knuckle).

NOTE:  July and August are where your two hands are put together!  All the months on the knuckle have 31 days the ones that land on the space have 30--except of course February!

Never Eat Shredded Wheat - To remember the directions on a map, place the first letter of each word in a clockwise circle starting at the 12 o'clock position
