Print a copy of the game cards on tagboard and laminate.
To Play:
Divide cards evenly between all players. Players remove any root + definition card matches in his hand and reads them aloud to the group. Play begins when the teacher says switch and each player passes a card to the player on his left. Again, any player who finds a root + definition card match in his hand reads them aloud to the group and places them down on the table. Play continues until someone gets rid of all their cards. A shorter game would be to set a time limit and the player with the most pairs wins.
Note: For the first several times that the game is played, provide each student with a 'cheat sheet' of roots and their definitions to refer to.
